FAMU Presidential Search Committee Selects Two Candidates to Meet with the Board of Trustees in Tallahassee
ORLANDO – The Florida A&M University (FAMU) presidential search committee met today to interview candidates for the presidency and will invite two candidates to meet the full Board of Trustees in Tallahassee on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
- Elmira Mangum, vice president for budget and planning, Samuel Johnson School of Management at Cornell University
- John Price, former founding president, University of North Texas at Dallas
The candidates will be interviewed by the Board during its meeting in the Al Lawson Multipurpose Center at 8:30 a.m. Additionally, the candidates will participate in a public forum with students, faculty, staff and alumni from 2 – 5 p.m. in Jake Gaither Gymnasium.
