Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Naomi Roberson as a School Board Member of Baker County.
Roberson, 75, of Maccleny, is a retired educator. She was a teacher in the Baker County School District from 1966 through 1994, and a district program specialist from 1994 through 2001. Roberson was previously appointed to the Baker County School board from March 2004 to November 2004. Roberson received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her Master of Education from the University of North Florida. She is appointed to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Jesse Davis for a term beginning April 25, 2014, and ending November 18, 2014.
