Clay County’s Leslie Dougher Elected To Serve As Republican Party Of Florida Chairman

TAMPA – Today, the State Executive Committee of the Republican Party of Florida elected Leslie Dougher to serve as the next Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida. She will assume the duties and responsibilities effective immediately. Dougher currently serves as Clay County Chairman and Chairman of the Chairman’s Caucus.

Dougher, of Middleburg, is a life-long Republican, real estate agent and mother to one teenage daughter.

STATEMENT FROM NEWLY ELECTED RPOF CHAIRMAN LESLIE DOUGHER: “I am honored and humbled to have been chosen by my fellow grassroots leaders to serve as the next RPOF Chairman. It was an honor to even be considered, and I am looking forward to getting right to work to make sure the thousands of volunteers across the state have the tools to be successful in November. We are united in one purpose – electing Republicans – and I am excited for the opportunities that are ahead for our party.”

STATEMENT FROM OUTGOING RPOF CHAIRMAN LENNY CURRY: “It has been a pleasure to serve the Republican Party of Florida these past two-and-a-half years and be a part of the success this party has seen. I am confident that Leslie will continue to lead our party in the right direction, and that RPOF will continue to be the best party organization in the country.”
