Governor Rick Scott Appoints Three to
Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission

Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced one appointment and two reappointments to the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission.

David Hobbs, 55, of Monticello, is the sheriff of Jefferson County. He succeeds Susan Benton and is appointed for a term beginning June 20, 2014, and ending August 1, 2018.

Benito Arzon, 51, of Orlando, is a correctional officer with the Orange County Department of Corrections. He is reappointed for a term beginning June 20, 2014, and ending August 1, 2018.

Van Toth, 54, of Miami Lakes, is the chief of police with the Hialeah Garden Police Department. He is reappointed for a term beginning June 20, 2014, and ending August 1, 2018.
