Governor Rick Scott Appoints Lucas Boyce to Florida A&M University Board of Trustees
Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Lucas Boyce to the Florida A&M University Board of Trustees.
Boyce, 35, of Orlando, is the director of business development and legislative affairs for the Orlando Magic. He currently serves as a member of the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute and the Orange County Library Board of Trustees. Boyce received his bachelor’s degree from University of Central Missouri and his master’s degree from Rollins College. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning July 21, 2014, and ending January 6, 2018.
The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
