OCOEE WOMAN WINS $3 MILLION SUPER MILLIONS SCRATCH-OFF PRIZE

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that Brandy Pauline, 31, of Ocoee, claimed a $3 million prize in the SUPER MILLIONS Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery headquarters. She chose to receive her winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $2,169,006.41

Pauline purchased her winning ticket at Publix, located at 13450 Summerport Village Parkway in Windermere. The retailer will receive a bonus commission of $6,000 for selling this winning ticket.

“I plan to pay off my current home and buy a new one for my family,” said Pauline.

SUPER MILLIONS, which launched in March, is currently one of the Florida Lottery’s top-selling Scratch-Off games. The $20 game features more than $300 million in total cash prizes and 6.7 million winning tickets. There are eight top prizes of $3 million remaining. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-2.97.

Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 64 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $640 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2013-14.
