Jacksonville Jaguars President Mark Lamping Speaks at UNF Alumni Luncheon
Jacksonville Jaguars President Mark Lamping will be the guest speaker at the 2014 Fall Speaker Series, sponsored by the Coggin College of Business Alumni Chapter, at noon, Wednesday, Sept. 10, at the Adam W. Herbert University Center, Building 43, on the UNF campus.
Lamping will discuss what’s in store for this season of the Jacksonville Jaguars and the team’s economic impact to the city.
He was named president of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012. A veteran of more than 20 years as an executive in professional sports, Lamping became the Jaguars’ first president since the end of the 1996 season, overseeing all business operations for the Jaguars. Since arriving in Jacksonville, he has directed a restructuring of the Jaguars front office, along with multiple initiatives designed to engage with fans, improve the in-stadium experience, increase ticket sales and grow business opportunities locally, regionally and internationally.
The Speaker Series luncheons offer the opportunity to interact with other UNF alumni and members of the community, while gaining insight into current business topics presented by distinguished speakers.
The Coggin Alumni Chapter provides opportunities for professional development, along with social interaction and fellowship in order to strengthen the bond between the Coggin College of Business and its alumni.
The luncheon is $20. Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 1. For more information, contact the UNF Office of Alumni Services at (904) 620-4723 or at email@example.com.
