Earlier this week Charlie Crist made his first major “policy” announcement – though it was a month late and not on the topic he initially said it would be – but that’s typical Charlie. Say one thing, do another.
His “policy” takes a page straight out of the Obama playbook and, unbelievably, makes no mention of job creation or improving education. Charlie is ignoring the two most important issues to Florida voters, but that’s not surprising since he failed to lead on those same issues last time he was governor – losing over 832,000 jobs, slashing education funding by $1.4 billion and raising tuition.
Below is an annotated version of his “First Day of Fairness” and supporting background information is attached. You can also check it out on www.CharlieForFlorida.com/FirstDay.
