Local Leagues Offer Primary Election Voter Guides in 15 Florida Counties
Tallahassee, FL — It pays to be an informed voter. Aside from glossy postcards with candidates boasting why they should be elected or why their opponent should not, voters in 15 counties can look to their local League of Women Voters for information about the upcoming Primary Election on Tuesday, August 26th.
“League members have been providing Floridians with nonpartisan election information for over 75 years,” says LWVF Voter Service Chair Charley Williams. “The August 26 Primary is critical in determining outcomes for school boards, county and city commissions as well as an array of judicial seats.”
The counties in which voters can access League-generated Voter Guides for the Primary Election are:
- Volusia (Guide will be available August 8, 2014)
After the Primary, the League will be offering more comprehensive, statewide coverage of the candidates and issues that will appear on the General Election ballot in November.
