Governor Rick Scott Appoints Two to
Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind Board of Trustees

Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointments of Christine Chapman and Linda DiGonzalez to the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind Board of Trustees.

Chapman, 49, of St. Augustine, is a former staffing specialist for the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind. She succeeds Yolanda Rodriguez and is appointed for a term beginning February 10, 2014, and ending November 13, 2017.

DiGonzalez, 59, of Tallahassee, is the director of volunteers for senior citizens for Westminster Oaks. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning February 10, 2014, and ending February 7, 2015.

The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
