Governor Rick Scott Appoints Four to Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council

Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced three appointments and one reappointment to the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council.

Douglas Bournique, 63, of Vero Beach, is the executive vice president of the Indian River Citrus League. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning August 8, 2014, and ending October 1, 2016.

Jill Creech, 54, of Palm City, is the Southeast Florida District Director for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning August 8, 2014, and ending at the pleasure of the Governor.

Kelly Smallridge, 48, of West Palm Beach, is the president and chief executive officer of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning August 8, 2014, and ending October 1, 2015.

Peter Sachs, 66, of Boca Raton, is a managing partner of Sachs Sax Caplan. He is reappointed for a term beginning August 8, 2014, and ending October 1, 2016.

The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
