Area Hit Hardest by Hurricane Charley Ten Years Ago

Punta Gorda, FL – Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam will visit Punta Gorda on Wednesday, Aug. 13, marking 10 years since Hurricane Charley hit Florida. Gov. Bush and Commissioner Putnam toured the devastation of Hurricane Charley together with President George W. Bush in the days following the storm’s landfall in 2004.
