Southerland, Putnam to Highlight EPA Overreach Today

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Steve Southerland, II announced today that he will host a press conference on the steps of Florida’s Historic Capitol in Tallahassee on Monday, August 18th, highlighting his Regulatory Overreach Protection Act. Southerland will be joined by Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam and other Florida stakeholders to highlight bipartisan efforts to stop the EPA from expanding its regulatory authority to almost any body of water in America – including puddles, ditches, and farmland ponds.
