Florida Health Insurance Advisory Board (FHIAB) Meets to Discuss
Updates on State and Federal Health Care Issues
WHO: Florida Health Insurance Advisory Board (FHIAB), chaired by Insurance Commissioner Kevin McCarty.
WHAT: The FHIAB will hold a public meeting to discuss updates on state and federal health care issues relating to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and to begin to develop 2015 Legislative Recommendations. Presentations will be given on national outcomes of PPACA by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) and on the Florida outcomes of PPACA by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (Office).
