FLORIDA LOTTO® players have the chance to support their local college football teams while winning a variety of fun prizes including a bowl game trip, season tickets, a regular season away game trip, team merchandise, a $10,000 cash prize and more. Universities participating in the promotion include University of Florida®, Florida State University®, University of Central Florida™, University of Miami® and University of South Florida™.

“The Lottery is committed to supporting education at every level. We provide funding to support K-12 education programs, the Bright Futures Scholarship Program, and colleges and universities,” said Florida Lottery Secretary Cynthia O’Connell. “Our sole mission is to generate as much revenue as possible for education, while offering our players a fun and exciting portfolio of games. By combining Floridians’ love for FLORIDA LOTTO and college football, we know that this promotion will be a win-win for everyone.”

This year’s promotion will be held from August 27 through December 2, with the Grand Prize drawing on December 4, 2014. Players who purchase $10 or more of FLORIDA LOTTO or FLORIDA LOTTO with XTRA, will receive a voucher with a unique number that can be entered into the Fan-Tastic College Football Promotion on the Lottery’s website. Each of the five teams will have four Fan Experience drawings, along with one final Grand Prize drawing. More information will be available on the Lottery’s website beginning August 27.

The Lottery is also partnering with Florida colleges and universities across the state to host ice cream socials honoring Bright Futures scholarship recipients and celebrating the Lottery’s 26-year history of supporting education in Florida. In addition, oversized facsimile checks will be presented at college football games representing the amount of money each school has received from the Lottery in the form of Bright Futures scholarships.

The Florida Lottery is responsible for contributing more than $27 billion to education and sending more than 650,000 students to college through the Bright Futures Scholarship Program. The Florida Lottery reinvests nearly 98 percent of its revenue back into Florida’s economy through prize payouts, commissions to more than 13,000 Florida retailers and transfers to education. Since 1988, Florida Lottery games have paid more than $37 billion in prizes and made more than 1,300 people millionaires. For more information, please visit
