FAMU President Elmira Mangum to Participate in the Tom Joyner Foundation’s Panel Discussion on the State of HBCUs

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) President Elmira Mangum, Ph.D., will participate in the Tom Joyner Foundation Presidents’ Roundtable during the Allstate Tom Joyner Family Reunion on Friday, August 29 at 2:30 p.m. The roundtable discussion will be held at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, located at 6000 West Osceola Parkway, Kissimmee, Fla.

The roundtable features presidents and leaders from the nation’s top Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The panel discussion will serve as a symposium on the state of HBCUs; spotlight accomplishments of the participating institutions; and provide an opportunity for alumni, future students, and parents to learn more about the offerings of each HBCU during the annual College Zone Expo.
