TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Lottery announces that Willie Carson Jr., of Pensacola, claimed a $500,000 top prize in the MONEY MULTIPLIER Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. He purchased his winning ticket from Wish Wash, located at 6403 N. 9th Avenue in Pensacola.
“I plan to share the money with my children and buy my wife a Chevrolet SUV,” said Carson.
The $5 game, MONEY MULTIPLIER, features more than 2.4 million winning tickets and $37 million in total cash prizes. There are seven of eight top prizes remaining. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.24.
Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 64 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $640 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2013-14.
