Tallahassee- Republican Party of Florida Chairman David Bitner is announcing the “Greatest Generation” Tour which will honor all the Floridians who served during WWII. The tour is set to kick-off on April 2nd in Pensacola and will take place one Saturday each month for six months.

Nearly 250,000 Floridians bore arms in service while the population surged on the home front. Military bases began to expand across the state while others were created to support the war effort overseas.
