CRC rules and process come under fire

Advocacy organizations fear proposed rules and rushed
meetings create roadblocks to meaningful public participation

The League of Women Voters of Florida will join with allied organizations on Wednesday, March 29th 2017 to share concerns about the proposed rules and process for the Constitution Revision Commission (CRC). 

The first public hearing of the CRC, set for today, Wednesday evening in Orlando, was scheduled with almost no public notice, without any coordination with commission members to determine their availability to attend, and prior to adoption of rules of procedure.
