Senator Aaron Bean Named 2017 Senator of the Year by The Able Trust

Posted on October 10, 2017

Sen. Bean was recognized for supporting Floridians with disabilities

Senator Aaron Bean (R-Fernandina Beach) has been named the 2017 Senator of the Year by The Able Trust. The Able Trust recognized the senator for his steadfast support of policy and programs that support people with disabilities. This is the third year that he has received an award from The Able Trust. During the 2017 legislative session, Sen. Bean fought to keep Able Trust programs alive and available to Floridians with disabilities throughout the State of Florida.
“It is such an honor to be named The Able Trust’s 2017 Senator of the Year,” said Sen. Bean. “The Able Trust provides critical programs and services to Floridians with disabilities, and they are truly making a difference in people’s lives. I look forward to continuing to work with The Able Trust to ensure that Floridians with disabilities are never left behind and are given the opportunities they so rightly deserve.”
Sen. Bean represents Senate District 4, which includes parts of Nassau and Duval Counties. He can be contacted in Tallahassee at (850) 487-5004 or in his District Office at (904) 757-5039.
