I was proud to be a prime co-sponsor of this bill that ensures that Florida dollars do not prop up the devastating communist regime in Venezuela. I also want to thank my colleagues, Senator René García and Representative Jeanette Nuñez, for their hard work on this important issue. Florida has done the right thing in standing with our brothers and sisters in Venezuela who are struggling under the oppressive Maduro regime as they continue to fight for freedom.”
