Gov. Scott Appoints Eleven to the Florida Interagency Coordinating Council for Infants and Toddlers
Governor Rick Scott today announced the five reappointments and six appointments to the Florida Interagency Coordinating Council for Infants and Toddlers.
Dr. Sara Evans, 35, of Pensacola, is an assistant professor at the University of West Florida. She is reappointed for a term beginning June 5, 2018, and ending January 1, 2020.
Cheryl Miller, 40, of Sarasota, is a therapist with Manatee Children’s Services. She succeeds Arwyn Holmes and is appointed for a term beginning June 5, 2018, and ending January 1, 2020.
James Dunn, 39, of Tallahassee, is the deputy director at the Florida Department of Financial Services. He succeeds Betty Pate and is appointed for a term beginning June 5, 2018, and ending January 1, 2021.
Laurie Blades, 52, of Havana, is the deputy director at the Florida Department of Children and Families. She is reappointed for a term beginning June 5, 2018, and ending January 1, 2021.
Kim Carr, 60, of Jacksonville, is the director of the parent infant program for the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind. She is reappointed for a term beginning June 5, 2018, and ending January 1, 2020.
Dr. Ilene Wilkins, 56, of Orlando, is the chief executive officer of United Cerebral Palsy of Central Florida. She is reappointed for a term beginning June 5, 2018, and ending January 1, 2021.
Melissa Pyzik, of Winter Garden, is a certified listening and spoken language specialist at Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning June 5, 2018, and ending January 1, 2019.
Robert Porcaro, 50, of Delray Beach, is the chief operating officer of Easter Seals Florida, Inc. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning June 5, 2018, and ending January 1, 2019.
Erin Hough, 40, of Monticello, is an operations review specialist for the Florida Department of Children and Families. She is reappointed for a term beginning June 5, 2018, and ending January 1, 2021.
Nacole Guyton, 43, of Tallahassee, is the director of the Head Start Collaboration Office of Florida. She succeeds Lilli Copp and is appointed for a term beginning June 5, 2018, and ending January 1, 2019.
Kertrena Jenkins, 58, of Tallahassee, is a program administrator for the Florida Department of Health. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning June 5, 2018, and ending January 1, 2020.
Gov. Scott Reappoints Steve Cona to Hillsborough Community College District Board of Trustees
Governor Rick Scott today announced the reappointment of Steve Cona III to the Hillsborough Community College District Board of Trustees.
Cona III, 43, of Tampa, is the president and chief executive officer of the Associated Builders and Contractors Florida Gulf Coast Chapter. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida. Cona is reappointed for a term beginning June 7, 2018 and ending May 31, 2022.
The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
