Gov. Scott Appoints Jill Danigel to Southeast Volusia Hospital District

Governor Rick Scott today announced the appointment of Jill Danigel to the Southeast Volusia Hospital District.

Jill Danigel, 53, of Edgewater, is the former captain of the Edgewater Fire Department. She succeeds Ferdinand Heeb and is appointed for a term beginning June 8, 2018, and ending March 21, 2022.

Gov. Scott Reappoints Two to Daytona State College District Board of Trustees

Governor Rick Scott today announced the reappointment of Anne Patterson and Garry Lubi to the Daytona State College District Board of Trustees.

Anne Patterson, 68, of DeLand, is a retired math teacher for the Volusia County School System and the former chief executive officer of Mainly Math, Inc. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Florida. Patterson is reappointed for a term beginning June 8, 2018 and ending March 31, 2022.

Garry Lubi, 60, of Palm Coast, is the senior vice president of commercial banking for CenterState Bank. He received his bachelor’s degree from Canisius College. Lubi is reappointed for a term beginning June 8, 2018 and ending March 31, 2022.

The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.

Manatee-Sarasota District Board of Trustees

Governor Rick Scott today announced the reappointment of Jaymie Carter and Rod Thompson to the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota District Board of Trustees.

Jaymie Carter, 57, of Bradenton, is a realtor with Michael Saunders & Company. She previously served as the community awareness and resource cultivation expert with the Early Learning Coalition of Manatee County. Carter is reappointed for a term beginning June 8, 2018 and ending March 31, 2022.

Rod Thompson, 58, of Sarasota, is the owner of The Thompson Media Group. He received his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. Thompson is reappointed for a term beginning June 8, 2018 and ending March 31, 2022.

The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
