Accountability Plans: The Board will consider for approval each university’s Accountability Plan, which will outline the institution’s strategic direction, top priorities, specific actions and financial plans for achieving those priorities, as well as performance expectations and outcomes on institutional and System-wide goals. Each presentation will be followed by Board discussion and questioning.
Legislative Champions: The Board will present its first-ever State University System Legislative Champion awards to elected leaders who used their platform to benefit students. Florida Senate President Joe Negron and House Majority Leader Ray Rodrigues are scheduled to accept the award in person. Governor Rick Scott, House Speaker Richard Corcoran, and incoming Senate President Bill Galvano will receive awards at a later date. The Florida Student Association will also present an award to Representative Amber Mariano.
