Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested Sergio Guerrero, 41, of 37402 Hobby Way, Lady Lake, on 10 counts of possession of child pornography.
Agents launched an investigation after receiving a cyber tip. Agents determined that files containing suspected child pornography were being downloaded to a specific social media site. Investigative techniques led agents to confirm an account using the site belonged to Guerrero. Upon the execution of a search warrant, agents conducted a forensic preview of Guerrero’s phone and found 10 files of child pornography. The phone was seized for further forensic analysis.
Guerrero was taken to the Lake County Jail. The State Attorney’s Office, 5th Judicial Circuit, will prosecute the case. Guerrero is being held on a $10,000 bond.
