De Angeles says Overdorf is the clear choice for House District 73.
The Toby Overdorf Campaign today announced the endorsement of Ken De Angeles, President of the Town of Ocean Breeze Council. Overdorf, a Republican, is running for the District 83 seat in the Florida House of Representatives, currently held by Gayle Harrell, who faces term limits this year. De Angeles’s support is the latest of a spate of endorsements for Overdorf from local elected officials.
“Toby Overdorf is the clear choice in this race,” said De Angeles. “He knows our community, and he’s got the work ethic and conservative vision and principles that we need in Tallahassee. I’m proud to support him, and I urge my fellow citizens to do the same.”
De Angeles has served on the Town of Ocean Breeze Council since 2013. Since 1983, he has served as the Membership Director of the Jensen Beach Chamber of Commerce, which he has also served as a Past President. For 30 years, he has been the owner of KJD Enterprises.
“I’m proud to have Ken De Angeles’s support,” said Overdorf. “He has been an important member of this community for many years, and I’m grateful for his service and honored to have him on our team. I look forward to working with him to make sure our area’s best interests are represented in Tallahassee.”
Overdorf is a longtime Treasure Coast resident and business owner, running on a platform of pro-growth economic policies that promote job creation, greater economic prosperity, and the completion of necessary environmental restoration projects.
In addition to De Angeles, Overdorf has recently been endorsed by Congressman Tom Rooney; Stuart City Commissioners Becky Bruner and Troy McDonald; Port St. Lucie City Councilmembers John Carvelli and Stephanie Morgan; Port St. Lucie Vice Mayor Shannon Martin; Martin County Commissioner Doug Smith; and South Florida Water Management District Governing Board member Brandon Tucker. Last week, Associated Builders and Contractors Florida East Coast Chapter announced that it was backing Overdorf.
