“For far too long, the State of Florida refused to allow adoptions by members of the LGBT community. Thankfully, legislation was passed to cure this egregious denial of basic human rights. Now, Republicans are attempting to turn back the clock on our progress. House Republicans apparently didn’t learn from the President’s policy of separating families. Just as I said then that being pro-family doesn’t stop at the border, being pro-family means being pro-all families. As Attorney General, I will fight for the human rights of every Floridian.”
