The law enforcement organization says Manny Diaz
is the “very best” in the race for Senate District 36.
The Manny Diaz Campaign today announced the endorsement of the Dade County Police Benevolent Association (PBA). Diaz has represented District 103 in the Florida House of Representatives since 2012 and is seeking the District 36 seat in the state senate.
In its letter to Diaz, PBA President Steadman Stahl said, “As the PBA goes through the screening process, we try to select the very best. We feel that you will be one of the very best, and we wish you a successful campaign.”
“I am very honored to have the support of the Dade County PBA,” said Diaz. “I’m grateful for their support of my campaign and for the invaluable service their members provide to our community each and every day. It is vital that we have a strong law enforcement community, and I look forward to continuing to work with them to make sure they are adequately resourced and supported in their important work.”
In addition to the PBA endorsement, Diaz has received support from Florida Right to Life and numerous elected officials. They include Mayor Fred Spencer Deno IV of Virginia Gardens; Mayor Francis Suarez of the City of Miami; Mayor Carlos Hernandez of Hialeah; Mayor JC Bermudez of Doral; Mayor Yioset De La Cruz of Hialeah Gardens; Mayor Manny Cid of Miami Lakes; Mayor Roberto Martell of Medley; Mayor Billy Bain of Miami Springs; and Hialeah City Council President Vivan Casals Muñoz.
