Valrico Woman Claims $1 Million Top Prize Playing the New MONOPOLY JACKPOT Scratch-Off Game

Posted on July 18, 2018

The Florida Lottery announces that Amy Stepp, 57, of Valrico, claimed the first of eight $1 million top prizes in the new $5 MONOPOLY JACKPOT Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

Stepp purchased her winning ticket from Winn-Dixie, located at 2535 State Road 60 East in Valrico. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $5 game, MONOPOLY JACKPOT, launched on July 2 and offers more than $91 million in prizes, including eight top prizes of $1 million! The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-3.98.

Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, generating more than $784 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2016-17, and comprising approximately 68 percent of ticket sales.
