Interstate 95 (I-95) motorists may encounter overnight exit ramp closures between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. during the next two weeks for the installation of overhead signs.

The work is part of an I-95 improvement project at State Road (S.R.) 524, S.R. 520/West King Street and Wickham Road that also includes installing high-mast lighting. Drivers will be directed to use the exit just prior to or after the closed ramp.

  • Monday, July 30 – Southbound I-95 exit ramp closure at S.R. 524;
  • Wednesday, Aug. 1 – Southbound I-95 exit ramp closure at S.R. 520;
  • Thursday, Aug. 2 – Northbound I-95 exit ramp closure at S.R. 520;
  • Tuesday, Aug. 7 – Northbound I-95 exit ramp closure at S.R. 524;
  • Wednesday, Aug. 8 – Southbound I-95 exit ramp closure at Wickham Road;
  • Thursday, Aug. 9 – Northbound I-95 exit ramp closure at Wickham Road.

There will also be single lane closures for northbound and southbound traffic within the project limits.

Please note construction schedules may change due to weather or other circumstances. Electronic message boards will be used to alert and direct motorists. Check CFLRoads.com for updates.

Media inquiries should be directed to the FDOT Communications Office at 386-943-5479 or [email protected].

FDOT advises drivers to slow down and use extra caution in construction zones.
