Gregory Statement on Questions Concerning Melissa Howard’s Résumé

Posted on August 7, 2018

The Tommy Gregory Campaign today released the following statement regarding questions about Melissa Howard’s education credentials:

“Today, a story broke on Florida News Online that questioned Melissa Howard’s truthfulness about claims on her résumé. Instead of providing evidence refuting the direct questions raised in the story, Ms. Howard chose to pivot and attack the Gregory campaign for lying about her record. On the contrary, however, the Tommy Gregory campaign has made no statement of any kind related to the article, and while Ms. Howard may have some explaining to do, we will leave that to her, the media, and the voters of District 73. In the meantime, we will continue to knock on doors and take our conservative message to the voters of our community. Nothing is more important than electing someone with integrity who will stand with President Trump on key issues like stopping illegal immigration, protecting our Second Amendment, creating jobs, and putting Americans first. We are grateful to be A-Rated by Florida Right to Life and have the endorsements of three Sheriffs, the Fraternal Order of Police, and the NRA, and we will continue to work hard between now and August 28 to earn the support of voters in District 73.”

Paid by Tommy Gregory, Republican, for State Representative
