Gov. Scott Appoints Three to Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council
Governor Rick Scott today announced the reappointment of Douglas Bournique and the appointment of Robert Lowe, Sr. and Erica Whitfield to the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council.
Bournique, 67, of Vero Beach is the Executive Vice President of Indian River Citrus League. He is reappointed for a term beginning August 28, 2018, and ending October 1, 2019.
Lowe, 79, of Hutchinson Island is the President of Lowe’s International Realty Plus Real Estate. Lowe succeeds Steven Weaver and is appointed for a term beginning August 28, 2018, and ending October 1, 2020.
Whitfield, 40, of Lake Worth is a School Board Member for the School District of Palm Beach County. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning August 28, 2018, and ending October 1, 2020.
The appointments are subject to Senate confirmation.

Commercialization of Florida Technology Board of Directors
Governor Rick Scott today announced the reappointment of Sherrick “Rick” Wassel to the Institute for the Commercialization of Florida Technology Board of Directors.
Sherrick “Rick” Wassel, of Orlando, is the vice president of strategic innovation and partnership at Adventist Health System, Florida Division. He is reappointed for a term beginning August 28, 2018, and ending November 3, 2020.
Gov. Scott Appoints Elena Vizvary to Board of Occupational Therapy
Governor Rick Scott today announced the appointment of Elena Vizvary to the Board of Occupational Therapy.
Elena Vizvary, 68, of Sarasota, is a licensed occupational therapist. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning August 28, 2018, and ending October 31, 2021.
This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
