Gov. Scott Appoints Matt Brackett to the Florida Interagency
Coordinating Council for Infants and Toddlers
Governor Rick Scott today announced the appointment of Matt Brackett to the Florida Interagency Coordinating Council for Infants and Toddlers.
Matt Brackett, 37, of Tallahassee, is a program administrator for the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration. He succeeds LaKera Reddick and is appointed for a term beginning August 29, 2018, and ending January 1, 2021.
Gov. Scott Appoints Three to Columbia County Housing Authority
Governor Rick Scott today announced the reappointment of two and the appointment of one to the Columbia County Housing Authority.
Lena Lofton, 72, of Lake City, is a retired correctional counselor for Miami-Dade Corrections. She is reappointed for a term beginning August 29, 2018 and ending March 15, 2022.
Joseph Chancy, 72, of Lake City, is a retired state trooper. He is reappointed for a term beginning August 29, 2018, and ending March 15, 2021.
Michael Childs, 30, of Lake City, is a pastor at Christ Central Lake Butler. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning August 29, 2018, and ending March 15, 2020.

Governor Rick Scott today announced the reappointment of three and the appointment of one to the Medical Examiners Commission.
Dr. Stephen Nelson, 60, of Lakeland, is the chief medical examiner of District 10. He is reappointed for a term beginning August 29, 2018, and ending July 1, 2020.
Robin Giddens Sheppard, 59, of Ponte Vedra Beach, is a funeral director for Hardage Giddens Funeral Home. She is reappointed for a term beginning August 29, 2018, and ending July 1, 2020.
Carol Whitmore, 63, of Holmes Beach, is a county commissioner of Manatee County. She is reappointed for a term beginning August 29, 2018, and ending July 1, 2021.
Charlie Cofer, 66, of Jacksonville, is a public defender for the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida. He succeeds James Purdy and is appointed for a term beginning August 29, 2018, and ending July 1, 2021.

Governor Rick Scott today announced the reappointment of eight and the appointment of one to the District Medical Examiners.
Dr. Barbara Wolf, 61, of Lake County, is the chief medical examiner of District 5. She is reappointed for a term beginning August 29, 2018, and ending July 1, 2021.
Dr. Jon Thogmartin, 54, of Burlington, is the chief medical examiner of District 6. He is reappointed for a term beginning August 29, 2018, and ending July 1, 2021.
Dr. William Hamilton, 73, of Gainesville, is the chief medical examiner of District 8. He is reappointed for a term beginning August 29, 2018, and ending July 1, 2019.

Dr. Michael Armbruster, 56, of Winter Garden, is an educator for Orange County Public Schools. He is reappointed for a term beginning August 29, 2018, and ending June 30, 2020.
Jay Snyder, 58, of Orlando, is the president of Masonry Accessories, Inc. He is reappointed for a term beginning August 29, 2018, and ending June 30, 2021.
