Governor Rick Scott today announced the appointment of Rick Wilson to the Polk County Board of County Commissioners. He is appointed to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Melony Bell on October 1, 2018.
Wilson, 65, of Bartow, is a small business owner. He is a member of the Polk County Cattleman’s Association, Florida Cattleman’s Association and Rotary International. He is appointed to the seat held by Commissioner Melony Bell, for a term beginning October 1, 2018.
