Maria Elvira Salazar, Republican candidate for Florida’s 27th Congressional District, is leading by nine points in the race for Congress, according to a recent poll conducted by the well-known, Virginia-based firm McLaughlin & Associates.
“The dynamics of this race are unchanged, as Maria Elvira Salazar is ahead and her lead is driven by her strong personal popularity,” confirmed the firm, adding that Maria Elvira is currently receiving 50% of the votes, with Donna Shalala in a second place at 41%.
“I am honored by all the support we are receiving,” said Maria Elvira. “The results of this latest poll clearly show the confidence the voters have in my ability to lead on the important issues that matter most to our community. Our hard work continues to ensure the priorities and concerns of District 27 are heard in Washington” she declared.
McLaughlin & Associates surveyed 400 registered voters in Florida Congressional District 27th between October 11th and 14th.
