On Sunday, October 21, a Ranger Construction subcontractor, doing work on Florida’s Turnpike, struck the outside concrete beam on the PGA Boulevard Bridge over Florida’s Turnpike at MP 109. Because of this hit, a portion of the Turnpike’s northbound auxiliary lane to PGA Boulevard and the outside eastbound lane of PGA Boulevard over the bridge are closed. Ranger Construction is conducting a full engineering assessment and preparing a repair procedure for FDOT approval. The lane closures are anticipated to be in place for approximately two weeks. Two lanes on PGA Boulevard remain open. The lane closure is being maintained by Ranger Construction.
