Four Florida players win prizes of up to $3 million in Tuesday’s MEGA MILLIONS® drawing

Posted on October 24, 2018

While the sole $1.6 billion jackpot-winning MEGA MILLIONS® ticket was sold in South Carolina, last night’s MEGA MILLIONS drawing produced one $3 million winner, and three $1 million winners from Florida.

The winning $3 million ticket was sold at RaceTrac, located at 12136 South John Young Parkway in Orlando. The locations of the three $1 million tickets are as follows: Publix, located at 601 Weldon Boulevard in Lake Mary; 7-Eleven, located at 909 South 78th Street in Tampa; and United Fuel, located at 6900 Southwest 8th Street in Miami. The winning numbers were 5-28-62-65-70 and the MegaBall was 5.

The MEGA MILLIONS jackpot rolled 25 times since the July 27, 2018, drawing. There were more than 3.6 million Florida winners in this series of rollovers, winning more than $29.7 million in prizes. Since joining MEGA MILLIONS in 2013, the game has generated more than $431 million for education.

The next MEGA MILLIONS drawing will be held Friday, October 26, at 11:00 p.m. ET, with an estimated $40 million jackpot. Tickets must be purchased by 10:00 p.m. ET to be eligible for this drawing. MEGA MILLIONS drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state. Drawings are also available for viewing on the Florida Lottery website and our official YouTube channel. Winning numbers are available on the Lottery website, at retailers statewide and by phone at (850) 921-PLAY.
