Environment Florida, which is a citizen-based environmental advocacy project of Environment America, announced today its endorsement of Bill Nelson for Senate.
“Environment Florida’s members and supporters believe that defending our environment requires independent research, tough-minded advocacy, and spirited grassroots action. Throughout his time in office, Senator Bill Nelson has exemplified these very ideals and has a long track record of standing up for Florida’s environment,” said Jennifer Rubiello, State Director of Environment Florida.
“Florida is ground zero for the worst impacts of climate change, and our nation is running out of time to change course. Voting to reelect Senator Bill Nelson must be part of our plan of action.”
