Maria Elvira Salazar’s Campaign Will Hold Press Conference to Denounce False Claims by Nonprofit Organization with Ties to Clinton Administration

The Maria Elvira Salazar for Congress campaign will hold a press conference tomorrow to call for an IRS investigation into the improper political campaign activities of the Voter Information Center in violation of federal restrictions on nonprofit social welfare organizations and to denounce its false and deceptive scare tactics in mailers to voters while claiming to be a “unbiased” nonprofit organization.

“This organization, previously known as “Women’s Voices Women Vote Action Fund”, has deep ties to the Clinton Administration and has a reported history of targeting misleading messages to voters during elections,” according to a filing with the IRS by attorney Raquel A. Rodriguez on behalf of the Salazar campaign.
