PSC to Hear Florida Public Utilities Program Request on Monday

Posted on November 2, 2018

The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold an emergency meeting at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2018 to discuss a request from Florida Public Utilities Company (FPUC) to offer an Electric Restoration Payment Program. Because of Hurricane Michael’s extensive damage to the utility’s Northwest service territory in Jackson, Calhoun, and Liberty Counties, FPUC is requesting approval to provide a payment program to cover the upfront costs to repair customers’ electrical facilities in order to restore power.

This emergency meeting, scheduled for the following time and location, precedes the PSC’s cost recovery clause hearings that begin at 1:30 p.m.

Monday, November 5, 2018
1:00 p.m.
Betty Easley Conference Center
Joseph P. Cresse Hearing Room (Room 148)
4075 Esplanade Way
Tallahassee, Florida

The meeting will be broadcast on the Florida Channel (check your local listings) and is available online at floridapsc.com (look for the “Watch Live Broadcast” icon on the left side of the web page).
