Toby Overdorf tonight released the following statement following his victory in the race for District 83 in the Florida House:
“I have been overwhelmed by the wonderful support we have received throughout this campaign, and tonight our hard work has paid off. This has been a hard-fought campaign, and I want to congratulate Matt Theobald on the campaign he ran and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
“Thank you to our friends and supporters who have invested so much in this effort and to my family who has been by my side throughout. I am so grateful for the confidence the voters have placed in me, and I can’t wait to get to work to fix the lagoon and strengthen our economy.”
