Eastbound I-4 in Downtown Orlando Closing Overnight on Nov. 30

Posted on November 29, 2018

Eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) between Gore Street and State Road (S.R.) 408 is closing at 10 p.m. on November 30 and will reopen by 5 a.m. on December 1.

The detour around this eastbound I-4 closure is to exit at South Street (Exit 82B), travel north on Garland Avenue and reenter eastbound I-4 at the ramp located after the Amelia Street intersection.

In addition, the eastbound S.R. 408 exit ramp to eastbound I-4 will be closed from 10 p.m. on November 30 and will reopen at 5 a.m. the following morning. These closures are necessary for bridge work at the I-4 and S.R. 408 interchange.

View or download a handout of these nightly closures and detours.

Modifications or extensions to these schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
