The traffic shift on southbound Kirkman Road (State Road 435) has been postponed as construction crews need more time to do the switch-over. The target now is to have the shift occur sometime early next week. Updates will follow as the shift will involve a southbound closure of Kirkman Road between Major Boulevard and International Drive, as well as an exit ramp closure.
A separate closure overnight/early tomorrow in the same general area is still on schedule. Northbound Kirkman Road between International Drive and Interstate 4 (I-4), as well as the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp from northbound Kirkman Road will be closing from midnight until 5 a.m. on Dec. 7. This closure is necessary to install an overhead sign structure.
