Gov. Scott Participates in CAMACOL’s 33rd Annual Holiday Food Basket Drive

Posted on December 12, 2018

Governor Rick Scott today participated in a holiday food basket drive hosted by The Latin Chamber of Commerce of the United States (CAMACOL). This is the 33rd year CAMACOL has hosted this event to provide families in need with ingredients for a holiday meal. Governor Scott has attended the event six of the last seven years.

Governor Scott said, “I’ve seen first-hand how important this event is for the people of Miami and there is no better feeling than being able to help those in need. Hopefully these baskets will bring joy to the families who receive them as they will be able to enjoy a delicious meal with their loved ones this holiday season. I want to thank CAMACOL for inviting me to participate in this great event and for being such a strong supporter of our local communities.”
