The Florida Lottery announces that Patricia Ball, 60, of Land O’ Lakes, claimed a $1 million top prize in the $5 HOLIDAY BONUS Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $710,000.00.
Ball purchased her winning ticket from 7-Eleven, located at 2400 Land O’ Lakes Boulevard in Land O’ Lakes. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $5 game, $1,000,000 HOLIDAY BONUS, offers more than $54.5 million in prizes, including six top prizes of $1 million! The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.05.
Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2017-18, and comprising approximately 69 percent of ticket sales.
