Florida’s Faith Leaders Join Governor-elect DeSantis for Working Together in Faith: Inaugural Prayer Breakfast

Posted on January 8, 2019

Governor-elect Ron DeSantis, Lt. Governor Jeanette Nuñez and Floridians of all faiths today gathered to continue the time-honored tradition of an inclusive Inaugural Prayer Breakfast in Florida. Before a crowd of hundreds, attendees prayed for our state and celebrated the swearing in of Florida’s newly elected officials. The event also featured an uplifting performance by the FAMU Gospel Choir and a stirring rendition of the National Anthem by Mr. Darien Bolden, choir assistant director.
