On Tuesday, January 22nd, The Florida Sherriff’s Association will present The Dispatcher of the Year Award to Jeff Andress of the Alachua County Sherriff’s Department at the Winter Sherriff’s Meeting in Miramar Beach. Harris Corporation sponsors the award given to a dispatcher who goes above and beyond the call of duty. Florida-based Harris will also present a $10,000 donation to the Florida Sheriff’s Association, on behalf of the Harris Foundation, to be used for ongoing training and education.
