Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and State Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis visited Tampa today for the grand opening of the Florida State Fair and highlighted the impact agriculture has on Florida and thanked first responders for their dedication to keeping our state safe.
CFO Jimmy Patronis said, “Florida’s agriculture industry contributes more than $104 billion to the state’s economy each year. As we gather together to celebrate the rich history of Florida’s State Fair, let us remember the profound impact our farmers, ranchers and other agriculture contributors have on the prosperity of our state and nation.”
