When it comes to value, the University of North Florida is one of the top universities in the country again this year, according to new rankings from Forbes.
For the second consecutive year, UNF has been named a Forbes 2019 “Best Value College” and is among an exclusive class of only 300 schools nationwide ranked to help students as well as families evaluate the likely return on their investment.
UNF, the only Northeast Florida higher education institution to land on the list, is the jobs university in Florida, ranking No. 1 in percentages—74.3%—of graduates employed in Florida and graduates employed full time in Florida.
“We take great pride in being recognized by some very elite organizations for our efforts,” said UNF PresidentDavid Szymanski. “With top-notch academic programs and phenomenal out-of-classroom experiences, all at an affordable cost, UNF provides an exceptional value that’s hard to beat.”
Forbes compared data from over 640 schools across the nation. Schools were ranked based on their places in the Forbes 2018 America’s Top Colleges ranking, net student debt, net price, alumni earnings, six-year graduation rate and percentage of Pell Grant recipients.
The Forbes list evaluates institutions offering four-year degrees and doesn’t include private for-profit schools, such as the University of Phoenix or DeVry University. In-state tuition is used for state universities.
UNF, a nationally ranked university located on an environmentally beautiful campus, offers students who are dedicated to enriching the lives of others the opportunity to build their own futures through a well-rounded education.
