Governor Ron DeSantis today spoke at the 2019 Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance Mid-Year Meeting. The Governor spoke about his work with the Florida Legislature during this session where they achieved unprecedented victories on behalf of the people of Florida.
“Coming off a successful Legislative Session where we tackled issues ranging from our environment, to education, to public safety and healthcare, we have made it a point to put people above politics,” said Governor DeSantis. “We are working hard to implement our bold vision to ensure a brighter future for all Floridians across our great state. Florida’s future has never shined brighter and I look forward to many more historic achievements.”
The Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance is an economic development organization that focuses on creating, attracting, expanding and retaining high-wage jobs and capital investment in high value targeted industries. This in turn aids in developing more vibrant communities and improves the quality of life of citizens within the area.
